Insenseven – “Welcome” Trailer

by on Mar.29, 2011, under Vids

Isenseven Films presents us with one of the first trailers for the 2011/12 season, with the release of “Welcome”. Known for being one of the more experimental/artistic film studios, Isenseven shows snowboarding in a different light, and is often a breath of fresh air from the typical double-cork death rock videos that seem to be coming out the woodwork nowadays. So enjoy. Song – Urban Photograph by Urban Cone

Eye Candy – TimeLine Bonus Features

by on Mar.29, 2011, under Vids

For the TimeLine online video series this last winter, professional snowboarder Xavier de le Rue and cameraman Guido Perrini had the privilege to travel to some of the worlds most exotic snowboarding locations, to film and ride some of the worlds most exotic terrain. Yet while watching the videos in the series, you tend to focus more on the gnarly slopes that Xavier is shredding down, and less on the natural beauty of his surroundings. But Luckily for us, cameraman Guido Perrini kept his lens open on and off the slopes, and ended up taking some phenomenal mountain time-lapse shots that look as if they belong in a National Geographic documentary. Best viewed in HD, and in Theatre/Full-Screen mode. Check it out…

TimeLine Episode 7 : Up’s and Down’s and Happy Endings

by on Mar.28, 2011, under Vids

In this episode, Xavier discusses the up’s and down’s of the season and where he stands personally in his professional career. He discusses that snowboarding really isn’t about nailing the best trick or shredding the best line, but instead it’s about the feeling you get when you’re doing these things. If you’re not feeling that inherent and unabridged joy when you’re out on the mountain, then something needs to change to get back to that. Check it out.

Huge Russian Avalanche

by on Mar.24, 2011, under Vids

A while back, we posted a video of some Russian Army personnel firing an artillery shell onto an unstable mountainside in Russia. Well I think they caught onto the whole viral video thing, because they’re back at it again. Only this time unleashing an even larger slab then the last. Check it out…

Trevor Jacobs Jumps A Moving Train (x4)

by on Mar.23, 2011, under Vids

Tahoe-Native Trevor Jacobs is one crazy S.O.B. Having been inspired by skiers Temple Cummins and Andy Hetzel hitting a jump that launched them over a train nearly 20 years ago, Trevor and his crew, The GKC, set out to recreate this epic scenario in the same place that TC and AH accomplished it. This guy’s nuts. Check it out…

Check out some of Devun Walsh’s best footage from the 2010/2011 snowboarding season, including the drop (0:24) that photographer Scott Serfas captured, that landed him on the cover of the October 2010 issue of Transworld Snowboarding. So sick. Check out the vid below.
